FIELD: building, particularly production of pre-stressed reinforcing elements of material other than metal adapted to reinforce heating wall panels and cast-in-place and composite buildings, rods used as structural building members, to consolidate building base ground, namely road beds, and to secure retaining walls and structures in ground.
SUBSTANCE: composite reinforcement rod comprises bearing bar of high-strength polymeric material. Bar surface has profile created by winding braid, wherein cross-sectional area ratio between bearing bar and winding braid is 3-25. The winding braid has elliptical cross-section with major axis directed along bearing bar. Winding angle is 30-70°. The profile may be also created by embossing removable winding braid into the bearing bar so that grooves created by above embossing operation has profile reversal to that of winding braid, wherein cross-sectional area ratio between bearing bar and winding braid is 3-25, winding braid has elliptical cross-section with major axis directed along bearing bar and winding angle is 30-70°. Reinforcement rod is produced along with bearing bar roving and winding braid tightening control to provide braid pressing in "wet" bar. During winding operation braid forms bar and is simultaneously pressed into the bar to create periodic profile. Spiral winding braid takes elliptical shape due to braid tightening. Major ellipse axis is directed along bearing bar to increase bond strength between the braid and concrete.
EFFECT: increased tensile and flexural strength and, as a result, improved load-bearing building structure ability.
