METHOD FOR EXTRACTING A DEPOSIT OF HIGHLY VISCOUS OIL Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC E21B43/24 

FIELD: oil industry, possible use during extraction of a deposit of highly viscous oil.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, well is drilled with horizontal shaft. Horizontal shaft of well is driven by descending profile through all of productive bed. In drilled well, casing string is mounted, perforated in interval of product well. Behind-pipe space is cemented from ceiling of product bed to mouth of well. Tubing string perforated in lower portion is lowered into casing string. Packer is mounted in lower part of perforation interval between tubing strings. Along additional tubing string, cementing material is fed, and then a heat carrier. Product is extracted from product well through perforation of casing string and perforation of tubing string, perforated in interval of productive bed. Product is transported to mouth along circular inter-pipe space between columns of tubing strings. Extraction of product is continued until sharp decline of well debit. Tubing strings are serially lifted or lowered to new deposits upwardly up to ceiling or downwardly down to shoe of productive bed and operations are repeated until full depletion of productive bed.

EFFECT: increased oil yield due to increased coverage of bed by processing agent during serial processing of whole bed.
