FIELD: technology for monitoring radioactive pollution of environment, possible use for registration and measurement of gamma-field value.
SUBSTANCE: method for registration of gamma-field includes generation of impulse electric current, formed by free electrons of cathode of photo-electronic multiplier, its amplification at dynodes of photo-electronic multiplexer and registration of voltage drop value, created by given current on anode of photo-electronic multiplexer, which is proportional to power of dose of registered gamma-field. During registration of gamma-field photo-electronic multiplexer is isolated from light sources, and impulse electric current is generated in form of a set of short current impulses by means of direct influence of gamma-quanta on material of cathode of photo-electronic multiplexer, excluding fall of light quanta onto cathode of photo-electronic multiplexer during that.
EFFECT: possible registration of high level gamma fields, increased reliability of registration and decreased costs of the same.
