FIELD: nuclear power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation in the nuclear power industry. The detection unit for registration of gamma-quantum radiation consists of a cylindrical body, a scintillation crystal, a photomultiplier tube, a voltage divider and a high-voltage cable. In the cylindrical body, a cup is coaxially installed from one end of it, connected to the cylindrical body through a sealing ring with a union nut. Also, the detection unit is equipped with a pulse shaper and a power converter. In this case, the scintillation crystal is installed hermetically in a glass and is made of a luminescent LaBr3(Ce) crystal of lanthanum (III) bromide doped with cerium.
EFFECT: expanding the technical capabilities of the device.
