FIELD: manufacture of helicopters.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device for gluing tail compartment to spar of helicopter main rotor blade includes U-clamp with self-orienting clamping jaws articulated on its ends by means of cross-pieces; these clamping jaws are provided with built-in electric heating devices. Clamping jaws are interconnected by means of ball joints with cross-pieces. Cross-pieces are mounted on ball joints; bearing pin of first of them is mounted on end of clamp by means of threaded joint and bearing pin of second one is secured on first arm of lever with point of support on ball secured on other end of clamp. Second arm of lever is engageable with clamping screw fitted in nut secured in clamp. Secured on clamp along axis of lever ball joint is pointer indicator opposite which notches are made on lever. Clamping jaws are provided with glass plastic casing with flat heating element placed in it on aluminum plate; heating element is made in form of zigzag belt of different width along length of surface to be glued which is placed between rubber insulators. Resistance thermometers are mounted between tail compartment and rubber insulator; they are connected with current regulator.
EFFECT: low cost; improved quality of gluing during operation of helicopter.
