FIELD: chemistry of polymers.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to friable agglomerated melamine cyanurate that is used in polymer as an antipyrene. Invention describes agglomerated melamine cyanurate comprising aggregate of melamine cyanurate particles with average size from 0.1 to 50 mcm that are bound between particles with accessory material chosen from group comprising polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyvinylcaprolactam. The content of accessory material is from 0.1 to 10 wt.-% as measured for the total mass of agglomerated material. Invention provides stability of melamine cyanurate against decomposition in handling and storage and shows good friability of powder.
