FIELD: mechanical engineering; pumps with start/stop devices.
SUBSTANCE: proposed pump contains rotor with impellers and relief disk and sliding bearing including bushing with rectangular grooves in lower part of bushing on inner diameter, and trunnion installed on shaft. Grooves of bushing are connected by holes with ring bore on outer diameter of bushing. Bushing in installed in bearing housing in which channel is made to feed liquid to ring bore of bushing. Cover is installed on housing with first attached to it. Radial grooves are made on outer end face surface of ring. Trunnion of bearing is sectional in length. Screw cut is made on part of length of larger diameter outer surface of trunnion from side of free end of shaft. Said screw cut forms screw-vortex-type seal with inner part of second ring installed in bearing housing and enclosing larger diameter trunnion on which mating screw cut is made.
EFFECT: improved reliability of pump at starting and stopping conditions, cut down consumption of liquid in bearing unit when pump is operating.
