FIELD: gas analyzing equipment using optical absorption spectroscopy means, possible use for measuring concentration of gas admixtures in atmosphere on open routes.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, inside optical system of gas analyzer reference radiation beam is created, imparting angular distribution to it prior to dissolution to spectrum, aforementioned distribution being identical to same for beam of radiation reflected by retro-reflector mounted on the opposite end of route. For this in front of outlet of optical system second retro-reflector is mounted, having a shutter which is fastened with possible rotation and which is turned so that its plane is perpendicular to optical axis of system and overlaps outlet of radiation to route. Reference radiation is focused, decomposed to spectrum, and during processing spectrum of radiation reflected from retro-reflector mounted on opposite end of route is compared to spectrum of reference radiation beam, and thus changes are detected resulting from absorption of radiation by gaseous components.
EFFECT: increased precision and sensitivity when determining concentration of gases in atmosphere.
