FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of analytical instrument making and concerns a remote optical absorption laser gas analyzer with a radiation wavelength in region of 1.6 mcm. Gas analyzer includes a unit for setting the laser emitter with a laser diode, a reference cell, an optical receiving system, a comparison detector, a navigation unit, a thermal stabilization unit, a photodetector, an analytic signal amplifier, a data processing unit, an information recording and storage unit and a fiber-optic Raman amplifier unit. High-germanosilicate optical fiber with high content of germanium oxide is used as a light guide for a Raman amplifier. At input of Raman amplifier there installed is input device of radiation supplied from erbium-ytterbium pumping laser and laser diode. At the output of the Raman amplifier there is a radiation output device with a channel for discharge of residual radiation, through an optical insulator connected to the optical forming system.

EFFECT: increased sensitivity and accuracy of measurements.
