CORD FREE SOLDERER Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B23K3/02

Abstract RU 2288818 C2

FIELD: manufacture and restoration of electronic, electric and electromechanical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: bit of solderer secured to its body includes two electrodes, each electrode has specific resistance 1500 micro Ohm x cm or more, heat conductivity equal to or less than 1.73073 Wt/m x K, bending strength equal at least to 10.343 kPa and density in range 1.5 - 1.75g/cm3. Electrodes are mutually insulated by means of insulator placed between them. Each electrode is separately electrically connected with positive and negative terminals of power source such as storage cell. Body is in the form tubular member of any rigid heat resistant material. Material of bit is rapidly cooled till safe temperature when electric circuit is disconnected.

EFFECT: possibility for providing outlet power higher than that of other types of portable solderers.
