FIELD: fat-and-oil industry; methods of the reactant-free soap stocks concentration.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of fat-and-oil industry, in particular, to the refining production, where the soap stock is formed. The method of the reactant-free soap stocks concentration includes removal of the moisture from the soap stocks, separation of the soap stocks by aging into two layers: the fatty layer and the emulsion layer. The emulsion layer is gated through the ultra- filtration diaphragm with pore sizes of 100-300 Å, at the pressure of 4-6 atm, the temperature of the emulsion passing through the diaphragm - 70°C -90°C and the speed of the layer passing through the diaphragm of 3 m\s with the subsequent transfer of the concentrated layer into the previously separated fatty layer with production of the soap stock concentrate. The invention ensures simplification of the process of concentration of the soap stocks, reduction of the time of the production cycle and the power inputs.
