FIELD: seismology, possible use for removing resilient energy in substances, which is a source of seismic energy, to prevent earthquakes by means of active physical influence on strained substances with consideration of moon-sun rising tides.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, positions of strained substances are detected. Liquid is forced into strained substances in time intervals, appropriate for expansion of strained substances caused by influence from moon-sun rising tides. Additionally, during all period of resilient energy removal in strained substances vibro-effect is maintained within limits of strained substances. Vibro-effect is performed with intensiveness, exceeding intensiveness of micro-seismic background. Horizontal and vertical shifts of earth surface of strained substances, being remainder deformations, are measured, and on basis of aforementioned deformations value of removed resilient energy in strained substances is evaluated.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of resilient energy removal.
