TILLAGE AND SOWING COMPLEX Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A01B49/06 

FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for pre-sowing soil tillage conducted simultaneously with sowing process during cultivation of cereal crops.

SUBSTANCE: tillage-sowing complex has shanks and tillage tools arranged forward of shanks. In order to provide strip-heterogeneous structure of plow layer, working tools are made in the form of sequentially arranged deep tillage, surface tillage and soil compacting hoes. Deep tillage hoes are arranged forward of complex and positioned in groups for forming ridges of compacted strips at seeding depth, with width of strips being equal to 10-12 ply seeding depth. Distance between centers of adjacent compacted strips is determined from dependence: T=100(KH)^-1 [B(H-A)+(H-A)²], where T is distance between centers of adjacent compacted strips, cm; B is width of ridge of compacted strips at seeding depth, cm; H is basic soil tillage depth, cm; A is sowing depth, cm; K is moistening mode coefficient. Width of compacting tools is greater than distance between two adjacent compacted strips. Surface tillage tools provide for continuous soil tillage at seeding depth.

EFFECT: reduced yield changes caused by precipitation deviations from mean regional norm of many years, and reduced costs for production of cereal crops.
