FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: tilling and seeding unit has frame mounted on carrier wheels, hopper mounted on frame and connected through seed guides to A-hoe type shanks provided with moldboards and levelers. Cylindrical compacting rolls and rippers are positioned behind levelers. All working tools are arranged in row having width of L/2 plus and minus 0.1L, where L is 450-500 mm. Row spacing in accordance with seed tape axis is equal to L plus and minus 0.1L. Rippers are made in the form of spring teeth. Tilling- seeding unit of such construction is used in arid steppe soil climatic zones of agriculture. EFFECT: increased cereal yield and reduced power consumption. 3 cl, 4 dwg
