FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves placing skin electrodes over central sagittal and frontooccipital head region and applying electric treatment of lateral and zonal brain structures with pulsating current. Bioelectric brain activity analysis is preliminarily carried out with electroencephalograms and electrocardiograms. Expert current pulses are applied via skin electrodes during 5-15 s with amplitude of 0.1-3 mA. Next bioelectric brain activity analysis stage is applied after 10-12 min long pause. Next, current pulse correction treatment is carried out with 0.5 to 15 min long current pulses being applied. Repeated bioelectric brain activity analysis is carried out 20-25 min later. Neurofunctional state normalization is fixed when smoothing bioelectric brain activity alpha-rhythm asymmetry coefficient to 12%. Total number of electric treatments is equal to 1-21 times.
EFFECT: reduced risk of adverse side effects.
