FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, neurology, medical psychology and psychotherapy, psychophysiology and can be used including for psychological and psychophysiological recovery of patients in late period after ischemic stroke (within more than 6 months after a stroke). Complex of corresponding medicinal and physical effects in form of massage and exercise therapy, as well as psychological rehabilitation by psychophysiological and psychotherapeutic effect. That is ensured by using the individual's emotional well-being assessment method O. I. Odarushchenko. "Emotional well-being test 1.0", including 9 subtests determining following 9 psychological parameters: 1) internality in family relations, 2) contactness, 3) subjective well-being, 4) creativity, 5) self-acceptance, 6) behavior flexibility, 7) morality index, 8) maturity of personality, 9) self-esteem. Their values are used in ranking and calculating a general criterion (GC) of mental health, reflecting the level of emotional well-being, according to the original formula. If the GC value is equal to or more than 11.2 conv. units, which reflects the emotional well-being of the patient, then as a psychophysiological effect, a course is performed from daily sessions of electropulse exposure using a device – multifunctional glasses Mind Spa, using “Progressive Alfa Training Relaxation” program of Alpha 1 Mind Spa device for 10 days. In the first three days, exposure time for one session is 10 minutes, in subsequent – for 22 minutes, and the psychotherapeutic effect is presented by rational-emotional-behavioral psychotherapy (REBT) with a session duration of 60 minutes, which is performed after Mind Spa exposure twice a week. If the GC value is less than 11.2 conv. units (reflects the patient's emotional uneasiness), then as a psychophysiological exposure, 12-day course of daily exposure sessions is performed with the help of Mind Spa, using the program "Progressive Deep Theta Training" Theta I, setting its duration for 10 minutes. That is followed by a psychotherapeutic exposure in the form of a REBT session lasting 60 minutes 2 times a week, then again exposed to the Mind Spa apparatus for 10 minutes, but already by Alpha II “Progressive Alfa Training Relaxation” program, wherein in the days free from REBT, and alpha-training is carried out immediately after theta-training. At least 3 hours later, repeated exposures are performed sequentially – first 10 min according to Theta I program, then 10 min according to Alpha II program. After 12-day course, the patient's GC definition is repeated, and if the value is higher than or equal to 11.2 conv. units consider effects effective and terminate. If observing GC less than 11.2, said psychophysiological and psychotherapeutic exposure is repeated for emotionally dysfunctional patient for 12 days.
EFFECT: method provides an individual, differentiated approach to rehabilitation of patients in the late recovery period after ischemic stroke taking into account features of objectively established emotional status of the patient; it increases the rehabilitation effect, improves the quality of life of patients and their relatives, accelerates socialization by restoring the emotional state of the patients with preserving the effect for a long period of time.
