METHOD AND ACTIVE ELECTROPHOTOSTIMULATOR DEVICE FOR RESTORING GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT TROPHISM Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A61N1/36 A61N5/06 A61N5/02

Abstract RU 2289447 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves applying treatment with electric and optical pulsating signals sent from autonomous electrophotostimulator to gastrointestinal tract segments. Tissues are additionally exposed to therapeutic doses of extremely high frequency radiation of millimetric bandwidth. Deviations from pH norm and oxygenation degree of tissues surrounding electrophotostimulator being observed, electric pulse supply to electrodes during not longer than 20 min. Active electrophotostimulator has casing having bushing and two hemispheric electrodes, electric power supply source and electromagnetic radiation source operating in optic bandwidth. At least one extremely high frequency radiation source of millimetric bandwidth, photosensitive cells for recording optical radiation reflected from tissues surrounding electrophotostimulator. The photosensitive cells are connected to microcomputer capable of forming electric pulses on succession frequency for sending them to electrodes and radiation sources. At least a part of casing is manufactured from material transparent for optical and extremely high frequency radiation.

EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
