FIELD: transport engineering; railway vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of devices transmitting traction force to automatic coupler. Device contains main frame of locomotive, automatic coupler with draft gear, front plate with automatic coupler striker, end beam of locomotive main frame provided with front and rear stops, side walls, lower plate with support strap, upper plate, middle plate and rear plate. Sides walls, lower plate and middle plate rigidly connected with front and rear stops with draft gear connected with automatic coupler placed in between, are rigidly connected with vertical or inclined part of shaped rear plate rigidly connected by upper part with lower belts of one or two center sills of main frame or cross beam connecting them. Side plate are rigidly connected with vertical walls of center sills of main frame or cross beams, and upper plate is rigidly connected with their upper plates.
EFFECT: reduced mass of device and end part of frame as a whole, simplified design, increased strength, improved manufacturability, increased reliability of device in service.
