FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compression ratio control devices. Proposed stepless compression ratio changer contains cylinder block with pistons, and cylinder block head. Space is made in cylinder block head with elastic diaphragm installed in lower part, and upper part of space is connected with oil pump by oil channels made in cylinder block head. Outlet of oil pump is connected with device to control pressure in over-diaphragm space containing bypass valve, electromagnetic valve and pressure sensor which are hydraulically intercoupled and installed in parallel.
EFFECT: provision of stepless change of compression ratio, enlarged functional capabilities owing to possibility of use of fuels of differential grades.
