FIELD: conversion of wind energy into mechanical energy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed wind motor has hub, two pairs of swivel blades connected by means of shafts located in one plane; one shaft is straight and other shaft is provided with central elbow located under straight shaft; centers of gravity of coaxial blades are shifted relative to axis of turn ensuring self-setting of blades in working position by turn. Blades are mutually perpendicular and may be engageable with stops located on hub. Besides that, wind motor is provided with two additional perpendicular blades connected by means of shaft provided with central elbow located under straight shaft. Blade have sector form; they are so mounted that their side edges adjoin each other at minimum clearance when blades are in horizontal position. Each blade is fixed in horizontal position by bringing the blade base in contact with upper and lower stops spaced apart from shaft axis.
EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency due to increased power and smooth rotation.
