FIELD: wind power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to windmills designed for converting energy of wind into mechanical energy. Proposed rotary windmill has vertical shaft with rigidly secured lower and upper parallel disk and s-shaped tubes arranged relatively perpendicularly between disks, middle parts of tubes being crossed and axially displaced. Moreover, windmill is furnished with webs-fairings coupling adjacent end parts of tubes arranged at equal distance from axis of rotation. Area of cross sections of middle parts of tubes can be larger than that of end parts of tubes. Windmill is simple in design and easy to manufacture, having no moving parts, thanks to it service life of windmill is increased. Windmill can operate at weak wind. Windmills of different power output can be formed by assembling the modules.
EFFECT: increased power output, provision of uniform rotation.
