MAGNETIC OR ELECTRIC HOT-AIR NANO-CRYOGENIC SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC F25B21/00

Abstract RU 2289768 C2

FIELD: cryogenic engineering.

SUBSTANCE: cryogenic system comprises solid working agent, heat exchangers, and reversing units for pumping heat agent. The blocks of the solid working agent are made of hydrocarbon nano-pipes or nano-pipes with replacement of atoms of carbon of rare-earth elements. The reversing units for pumping heat agent are made of nano-pipes that change their volume under the action of electric field. The heat exchangers are made of one-layer or enclosed nano-pipes.

EFFECT: reduced sizes, mass, and power consumption.
