METHOD OF MAKING NON-REMOVABLE METAL-POLYMER TOOTH DENTURE OF MANDUCATORY GROUP PF TEETH Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A61C13/03

SUBSTANCE: method can be used for making non-removable tooth dentures faced with polymer or composite materials. Method is based upon modeling of frame of tooth denture, making metal frame by casting and facing the frame with composite and polymer materials. When modeling frame of tooth denture onto occlusion surface of manducatory teeth (molars) at least two "occlusion stabilizers" are modeled simultaneously in form of protrusions with height of 1,5 mm at area of fissure-prominences which protrusions are left non faced. Usage of metal-polymer denture, made according to the method, allows minimizing contact of metal with saliva, which in turn allows preventing corrosion of metal in mouth cavity. Patient does not have restrictions in sort and hardness of food consumed, which improve his/her quality of life. Chippings of facing material are removed to minimum and pathological reduction in size of lower part of face can be avoided.

EFFECT: better esthetic appearance of dentures; prolonged service life.
