SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an agent used in curative-prophylactic nutrition. Invention proposes composition for correction of the assimilation level of foodstuffs of lipid nature by a body that involves complex comprising equimolar water-soluble salt of chitosan with ascorbic, succinic and lipoic acids, substance of polyoxynaphthoquinone nature and marine echinoderms animals (Echinodermata), polyoxyphenolic compounds from grape bunches and trivalent chrome ions and a sweetening agent. As a sweetening agent fructose is used in its concentration in the end product 30-80%, not less. The content of substances of polyoxynaphthoquinone nature in the end product is 0.1 mg/ml, not less. The composition comprises trivalent chrome ions in the amount not exceeding the daily dose 50 mcg/24 h in a single intake. The composition can be prepared in form of syrup, gel, paste, tablet, powder or aerosol. Also, invention proposes a method for preparing the composition used in correction of the assimilation level of foodstuffs of lipid nature by a body. Method provides preparing the composition containing chitosan in the final concentration from 1% to 5%, substances of polyoxynaphthoquinone nature 0.1 mg/nl, not less, trivalent chrome ions in the amount not exceeding the daily dose 50 mcg/24 h in a single intake and fructose taken in the amount from 30% to 80%. Method for preparing the composition involves mixing chitosan with solution of ascorbic and succinic acid at temperature 15-50°C, and prepared mixture of chitosan with aqueous solution of ascorbic and succinic acid is kept for 10-36 h. Invention provides improving blood lipid spectrum, protects liver against adipose infiltration, promotes to reducing body mass, provides antioxidant protection of body. The composition can be used as a curative-prophylactic agent in obesity of 1-st and 2-d degree of atherosclerosis, heart coronary disease, in symptoms of "metabolic syndrome", liver adipose infiltration and adipose hepatosis.
