DEVICE FOR FILTRATION OF LUBRICATING AND COOLING FLUIDS Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B01D33/04 

FIELD: filtration of liquid media; cleaning of lubricating and cooling fluids in the course of metalworking; coarse and fine drawing machines in producing cables from copper or aluminum cores.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device is placed in housing-bath; device has bobbin with filtering cloth, horizontal hollow shaft with holes which is mounted in upper part of housing-bath, two round disks coaxially mounted on hollow shaft at some distance from each other for independent free rotation. Cellular belt located below hollow shaft moves over closed contour on several guide shafts embracing round disks from below. Space bounded by flanges of round disks on sides and by bow-shaped section of cellular drive belt from below forms cleaning zone where contaminants of fluid are accumulated. Level sensor is also located there. Used filtering cloth is placed in special reservoir. Two upper guide shafts for cellular drive belt are located on either side from hollow shaft: drive shaft is connected with drive and driven shaft is supported by spring-loaded supports for control of holding the cloth down to belt. Level sensor is provided with member for protection against false operation in case of abrupt change in level of fluid in cleaning zone. Round disks are mounted on hollow shaft for free independent rotation.

EFFECT: reduced mass and overall dimensions; enhanced operational reliability; low cost of manufacture.
