FIELD: transport engineering; seat fore-and-aft adjusters.
SUBSTANCE: proposed vehicle seat fore-and-aft adjusted includes two fixed guides secured to vehicle body, sliders mating with guides, stop mechanism arranged on inner guide and including turnable level with handle and at least one locking member engaging with one of slots made on fixed guides in direction square to longitudinal axis. Fixed guides are attached to floor through raised platform on rear part of which is arranged hinge-connected with rear part of seat. Front part of seat is connected with link installed for turning at its both ends. Turnable lever is provided with additional support. Lever handle is turned to side from axis of symmetry of seat.
EFFECT: provision of riding comfort and safety of passenger cars at reduced length of guide and slider.
