FIELD: safety.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of passive safety of passenger transport facilities. Vehicle seat is installed on floor of body by means of which is arranged under seat rear part of hinged support and is equipped with automatic emergency device turnover seat back. Seat turnover device is made in form of two rigidly connected axes of hinged bearing slides mounted on floor under rear part of seat on its sides in closed cavities with side slots for arrangement of pin of pivoted mount, having possibility of elastic displacement in direction of vehicle movement under action of applied to them in emergency braking of inertial forces on side of hinged seat on sliders with passenger. Axis of hinged support is surrounded by a helical cylindrical torsion spring, attached with its bent ends in pre-stressed stress-turning state to axis of hinged support and seat, held in a stationary state of overturned back by means of retainer.

EFFECT: higher reliability and efficiency of protection of driver and passengers in case of sharp emergency braking.
