FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to railway transport industry, and namely to brakes of passenger rolling units. The method consists in providing parking cylinder piston with two additional opposite collars by means of which additional channel made in this cylinder body is isolated from this piston chambers when this piston is moved in the utmost braking position. Additional channel on self-propelled unit is connected with feed line via pneumatic switch the controlled branch of which is connected to braking line. In non-self-propelled unit, additional channel is connected directly with braking line, and switching valve output one of inputs of which is connected with inlet channel of braking cylinder is equipped with orifice plate and connected with inlet channel of parking cylinder, at the same time connecting this channel with the second input of switching valve.
EFFECT: providing possibility of automatic remote release of spring-type parking brake only under condition of preliminary full charging of standard braking system pneumatics of rolling unit.
