FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport and may be used in brake system of whatever rolling stock. Proposed method consists in adding locking valve to automatic air brake components, its control extension being connected with that of automatic braking gear electrically drive air valve connected to brake main line via disconnecting valve. Besides, it is connected directly to brake main line. Locking valve input extension is connected, in first version, with extension of automatic braking gear electrically drive air valve connected with feed main line via disconnecting vale. Said main line comprises additionally constructing orifice and, in another version, locking valve extension is connected with that air control valve connected via disconnecting valve with brake main line. Locking valve operation communicating inlet extension with outlet extension permanently communicated with atmosphere occurs at reduced compressed air pressure in brake main line below tolerable level permitted at complete service brake application of automatic braking gear.
EFFECT: automatic braking of rolling stock, higher efficiency and safety.
