FIELD: water treatment processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns a method for disinfecting drinking water used in food industry. Method consists in that water is exposed to joint action of accelerated electron beams directed perpendicularly to cavitation-mode acoustic vibration stream created by hydroacoustic emitter and carried into water by ozone-air mixture. The latter is formed via electron ionization reaction and passed through resonator chamber of hydroacoustic emitter to be dispersed and uniformly distributed throughout the volume of water to be treated, hydroacoustic emitter being oriented in the direction of water flow. Vibration intensity in cavitation mode is 3 W/cm2 and dose power on the water surface during electron accelerator activity 0.2-0.3 kGr/sec.
EFFECT: Increased water purification degree, excluded possibility of outburst of ozone-air mixture, and reduced power consumption.
