SUBSTANCE: earth-fill dam comprises water-tight dam body member and toe made of dam body member earth. The toe is arranged in water-permeable base and abuts upon water-tight dam body member base by upper part thereof. Lower toe part is submersed in dam base. Lower toe edge in place of toe abutment upon water-tight dam body member base has smooth convex part and is tangentially connected thereto.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability due to reduced outlet pressure gradients in area of lower toe edge connection with water-tight dam body member base.
