FIELD: rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solid-propellant rocket engine with heat protective coating of inner surface. proposed solid-propellant rocket engine has combustion chamber with nozzle unit and heat-protective coating of cylindrical surface, and end burning powder charge. Heat protective coating is multiple layer one, each layer being made of heat-resistant material. Sheets of heat-protective coating are of different length, decreasing towards nozzle unit and glued to each other and to surface of combusting chamber. Butt joints of sheets of heat-protective coating are displaced relative to each other.
EFFECT: decreased mass of heat-protective coating at preservation of its reliability.
