FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in development of solid-propellant rocket engines. Solid propellant rocket engine housing comprising a power shell with a heat-insulating coating, comprising a ring of composite material located at the central hole of the housing bottom, characterized in that in the peripheral part of the heat-insulating coating, butt-joint with first ring of composite material is second ring of composite material, wherein joint between rings is made with gap formed by equidistantly arranged curvilinear surfaces of ends of rings and filled with a rubber-like material, wherein between the second ring and the power casing of the housing there is an elastic layer of rubber-like material.
EFFECT: disclosed technical solution allows improving reliability and providing heat-resistant operability of the propellant rocket engine with the structure of the housing from the CM by installing in the peripheral part of the heat-insulating coating elements having high erosion resistance and providing the allowable thermal state of the structural components of the housing structure.
