FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: system comprises lubricating station with liquid lubricant, unit for preparing air, oil-air feeders, control desk, device for control and alarm, pipelines for lubricant, compressed air, and oil-air, cushion provided with passages for supplying lubricant and with top and bottom lids, coupled collars separated by means of spacing washer with bearing whose remote rings receive nozzles set on the shaft pins. The outer surface of the bearing is sealed with inner surface of cushions. The top and bottom sections of the spacing washer interposed between the collars are provided with passages that connect the dummy passages made of the cushion lids and the space of the cushions with the ambient. The nozzles set in the spacing rings are provided with openings pointed in diametrically opposite directions along the axis of the bearing or at an angle of 0 to 90° to the ways of the outer races of the bearing. The method comprises batching the lubricant, mixing the lubricant with compressed air in oil-air feeders, supplying the mixture in the oil-air pipelines, supplying oil-air mixture to the ways of the outer races through nozzles, and discharging the exhaust lubricant to the ambient. The oil-air mixture is supplied through the nozzles with a flow rate directly proportional to the air pressure supplied to the oil-air pipeline to form continuous flexible hydrodynamic flowing film with a thickness of 5-50 μm .

EFFECT: enhanced durability and reduced lubricant consumption.
