FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention aims at increasing precision of rolled stock sizes. Rolling mill linear guide plate of roll support assy comprises plate attached to rolling mill bed. Clearance in bearings are kept in fine tolerances because said plate has bearing surface connected with moving bearing surface of roll pad guide in operation and multiple lubing channels. Note that every said channels is composed by a flute on guide plate surface and rolling mil bed surface. Note that said multiple channels allow communication between at least one plate outlet and at least one plate inlet. Note also that lubrication is fed from said at least one outlet for feed lubrication between said plate bearing surface and said moving bearing surface of roll pad guide. Said guide plate is attached to rolling mill bed surface by multiple threaded fasteners passed through bed holes. Rolling device used appropriate guide plates.
