FIRING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC F41C3/00 

FIELD: firing multicharge devices that have no cartridge chamber, applicable as a means of self-defence both by guard organizations and by citizens.

SUBSTANCE: the firing device has a body with a magazine in which a spring-loaded cartridge feeder, cross-shaped rotary member, ratchet-wheel with teeth, spring-loaded pawl-and-pawl gear having a tooth, as well as a trigger mechanism with a base are installed. The height of the teeth of the ratchet-wheel is larger than the width of the tooth of the ratchet-and-pawl gear, but less than the difference of the sum of the ratchet-wheel radius and the distance between the axes of the ratchet wheel and the ratchet-and-pawl gear and the distance between the axis of turn of the ratchet-and-pawl gem and its tooth point, and the side of the tooth of the ratchet-wheel engageable with the tooth of the ratchet-and-pawl gear is made inclined inwards with formation of an acute angle exceeding 45 deg. at the tooth point.

EFFECT: provided reliable cartridge feed to the line of fire in the process of fire excluding the extraction of unfired cartridges after the fires ones.
