FIELD: electrical engineering; oil, chemical and petrochemical industries.

SUBSTANCE: proposed control device that can be used for actuators of shut-off valves, gate valves, cocks on pipelines used for carrying oil and oil products has contactless switching unit, optomechanical position sensor, torque unit wherein torque is measured as a function of actuator induction-motor stator current, current sensor, and position setting device. Induction motor rotor speed is read off optomechanical position sensor. Mechanical intervention of torque determining device in actuator is excluded.

EFFECT: enhanced precision of torque measurement irrespective of rated load and type of transfer mechanism.
