FIELD: signal transmission and demodulation technology.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes formation of frequency spectrum to be tuned for fine frequency-diversion tuning, separation of modulo maximum values of received signal during transmission at all frequencies changed over at clock frequency, separation of this clock frequency from maximal values of received signal being changed over, and its use for fine tuning of frequency diversity to this clock frequency; finely tuned frequency spectrum with finely tuned frequency diversity is tuned to fine frequencies of signal being received, whereupon demodulation is made by coherent reception of this signal using only one of quadrature channels to take decision on presence or absence of coherent frequency signal out of mentioned fine frequency values. Demodulator has quadrature channels, frequency shaper, decision unit, modulo value calculators, modulo maximum selection unit, two switching units, and clock frequency separator.
EFFECT: reduced demodulation threshold.
