FIELD: metallurgy of noble metals; processing of various wastes of refining process whose base includes many chemical elements and their compounds, mainly highly volatile chalcohenides of non-noble metals.
SUBSTANCE: initial products containing chalcohenides of non-noble metals, lead, metals of platinum group, gold and silver are leached-out before melting in caustic soda solution. Residue obtained after leaching-out is separated from alkali solution and is directed for melting together with additives of flux, carbon-containing deoxidant and copper-containing and/or iron-containing materials making use of middlings obtained at case-hardening or hydrolytic treatment of refining process solutions. Bottom heavy phase obtained after melting is used as concentrate of refining process.
EFFECT: increased content of noble metals in alloys formed during melting; low cost of subsequent refining process.
