FIELD: noble metal metallurgy; processing noble metal concentrate on base of silicon and palladium oxides. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes preparation of charge and introduction of sulfur- containing material to initial concentrate of noble metal; intermediate products of refining process are used as sulfur-containing material; carbon-containing reducer and fluxes are also added to noble metal concentrate. Charge is subjected to heat treatment till melt is formed; heavy alloy of noble metal is separated from products of heat treatment; heavy alloy is subjected to grinding and chlorination in hydrochloric acid solution.
