FIELD: automotive industry; pneumatic brake systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed brake regulator contains housing which serves as brake lever and worm train arranged inside housing which includes worm wheel and worm, screw train and control member coupled with lock to transmit rotation. Gear wheel of screw train is installed coaxially to worm of worm train, mechanically coupled with worm of worm train by means of spring-loaded lock, its axial displacement being prevented by means of threaded bushing. Trapezoidal slots opened from side of larger base are made on end faces of worm of worm train and gear wheel of screw train pointed to each other. Side surfaces of slots are inclined to axis of worn through angle greater than friction angle. At least two tenons are made on lock and lock is mounted so that said tenons are arranged in slots of worn and gear wheel of screw train. Lock can be made in form of cylindrical rod or in form of sprocket, with number of tenons greater than two.
EFFECT: improved reliability of regulator and simplified process of manual regulation of brake.
