FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: automotive brake regulator comprises casing that doubles as a lever and accommodates worm gearing made up of worm gear and worm, screw gear with its gear wheel fitted aligned with aforesaid worm and coupled therewith via coupling that comprises spring to compress friction surfaces, and axially constricted. It comprises also screw gear and torsion spring. Toothed gearing drive gear is fitted aligned with worm gearing worm. Toothed gearing driven gear is arranged aligned with screw gearing screw and articulated therewith via free running coupling formed by half-coupling with gear rim on end face that faces the screw face and gear rim made on said screw face. One hook of torsion spring is connected with toothed gearing driven gear, while another one is articulated with free running half-coupling. Brake regulator is provided with block connected with toothed gearing gear wheel to transfer rotation thereto and with free running half-coupling to transfer rotation and relative axial travel. There is a tangential clearance in engagement between aforesaid block and driven gear wheel which corresponds to casing turn angle in the case of brake drive elastic strain. Elastic element is added to regulator screw end face to provide for contact between half-coupling toothed rim with that on screw face.
EFFECT: higher reliability of brake adjustment.
