FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: automotive brake regulator comprises casing that doubles as a lever and accommodates worm gearing made up of worm gear and worm, screw gear with its gear wheel fitted aligned with aforesaid worm and coupled therewith via coupling that comprises spring to compress friction surfaces. Toothed gear drive wheel is arranged aligned with worm gearing worm, while drive gear is arranged aligned with toothed gearing screw and coupled with it via kinematic linkage. Kinematic linkage comprises spring-loaded half-coupling with cam rim arranged to axially displace relative to drive gear of toothed gear. Second spring-loaded half-coupling is arranged between half-coupling and screw of screw gearing. Second spring-loaded half-coupling end face that faces that of the first half-coupling accommodates similar cam rim, while on opposite end face and that screw gearing screw face accommodate mating cam rims. Both half-couplings are spring-loaded by compression springs.
EFFECT: higher reliability and simplified design.
