FIELD: radio engineering, in particular, data transfer method in wireless local network, possible use, for example, in wireless local data transfer networks in accordance to standard IEEE 802.11b.
SUBSTANCE: prior to transmission of each data block, such data transfer mechanism is selected as well as optimal size of fragment for it and optimal transfer speed, which maximize capacity of network with consideration of signal-noise ratio in signal of transferring station and with consideration of current load on network.
EFFECT: increased capacity of wireless local network in acc to standard IEEE 802.11b.
