FIELD: radio engineering, in particular, method for transferring servicing of a mobile station between a wireless data transmission network of IEEE 802.11b standard and a wireless data transmission network of IEEE 802.16 standard, and may be used, for example, in hybrid wireless data transmission networks.

SUBSTANCE: technical effect is achieved by the claimed method according to first and second variants of realization due to evaluation of signal-noise ratio in access point signal at mobile station and mobile station signal at access point, estimation of current load of priority network, detection of minimal value of signal-noise ratio in direct channel, detection of priority network exit threshold and priority network entrance threshold for direct channel, detection of minimal value of signal-noise ratio in reverse channel, priority network exit threshold and priority network entrance threshold for reverse channel, transfer of mobile station servicing from non-priority network to priority network only in case when service quality criterions are fulfilled both in direct and reverse channels, and servicing of mobile station is transferred from priority network into non-priority network, if service quality criterions in the direct channel or the reverse channel are not fulfilled.

EFFECT: ensured compatibility with service quality requirements during transfer of servicing of a mobile station between a wireless data transmission network of IEEE 802.11b standard and a wireless data transmission network of IEEE 802.16 standard.
