FIELD: environment protection, particularly to prevent contamination of ground areas adjoining oil installation.
SUBSTANCE: oil installation comprises structures located inside enclosed territory, accidental vessel defined by enclosing structure, ditch formed along territory perimeter between territory enclosing means and accidental vessel and located just near enclosing structure along ditch length. The ditch is in hydraulic communication with water-bearing bed in base thereof. The installation also comprises water supply means, which delivers water to the ditch. Ditch slopes are defined by upper part of enclosing structure at least from accidental vessel side and by upper part of embankment, preferably road embankment, from another ditch side. The accidental vessel is divided into several sections by partitions along accidental vessel length. The ditch is also divided into several parts. Upper partition level is below upper level of enclosing structure, which defines sections near above partition. Each ditch part has length equal to that of accidental vessel section. Accidental vessel is elongated along enclosing means, as defined in plan view. Oil or oil product trapping and utilization devices may be located in accidental vessel section.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of oil leakage prevention from accidental vessel and reduced area occupied by accidental vessel, which is put into operation during oil spill liquidation.
