FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: spillover on permafrost soils is a drainage section from containers with sorted rock soil, laid perpendicularly to road bed of a linear structure onto natural planned base and bottom of an outlet water drainage bed at the upland side of adjacent territory towards its piedmont area, at the same time the drainage section along the perimeter is wrapped into a geosynthetic material. Each subsequent container, starting from the second container, is laid one onto another with overlapping with displacement of its centre of gravity towards the outlet side. Overlapping value is ΔL=(0.1-0.15)L, where ΔL - overlapping value of the next container over the edge of the previous container; L - length of each container, and weight of each subsequent container relates to weight of the previous container as Pi+1/Pi=(0.05-0.10) Pi, where Pi - weight of the previous container; Pi+1 - weight of each subsequent container.
EFFECT: increased service life of a spillover to service life of road bed of a linear structure due to provision of even hydraulic regime of water flow within service life of road bed of a linear structure by development of a permanent temperature regime in a spillover and in an outlet gutter.
