FIELD: street lighting systems.

SUBSTANCE: proposed street lighting system includes devices for drainage of water from building roof and lighting fixtures. Device for drainage of water from building roof is made in form of hollow hermetic box secured on wall, preferably over height of building. Lighting fixtures may be secured on any section of hollow hermetic box whose upper part is provided with elbow embracing cornice of building and water collecting funnel and lower part is provided with drain elbow. Hollow hermetic box is formed by rear half-round wall, front flat wall and side walls connecting them; front and side walls form base surface for lighting fixture; side walls are provided with locking members for connecting the hollow hermetic box with lighting fixtures and with device used for securing the hollow hermetic box on building wall which consists of set of U-shaped clamps distributed over length of hollow hermetic box embracing the rear half-round wall of box; flexible ends of U-shaped clamps are provided with closing members for above-mentioned locking members of box. Lighting fixture is made in form of half-round and flat surfaces interconnected together and is provided with two reflectors and at least one light source with holder and current lead; reflectors are located at some distance from half-round and flat surfaces and light source is located between reflectors.

EFFECT: combination of functions of utilitarian lighting and decorative lighting of building parts.
