FIELD: lighting engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of lighting equipment, namely to lighting devices using semiconductor devices – light-emitting diodes and can be used for street, industrial, household and architectural-design lighting. LED lamp has a hollow housing with open end ends, on the outer surface of which a light-emitting diode module is connected to a power supply unit. Housing has a C-shaped profile. LED module has overall dimensions of the base, which correspond to the dimensions of the base of the housing, and is rigidly fixed on the flanges of the C-shaped profile by means of fasteners in such a way that forms together with the housing a closed tubular profile. LED lamp can be equipped with an optical element rigidly attached by means of fasteners to flanges of the C-shaped profile of the housing, above the LED module. Split fasteners can be used as fasteners. In certain cases, permanent fasteners may be used as fasteners. Power supply unit can be installed in the internal cavity of the housing. Housing can be made of heat-conducting material, for example, aluminum. Cross-section sides of the C-shaped profile can be related to each other as 1:2, 5:3.5.
EFFECT: improved removal of heat emitted by light-emitting diodes, simplified manufacturing and maintenance and increased service life.
