SUBSTANCE: decorative and advertising light article has a multilayer composition with symbols and/or images and a light source and is characterised by that the multilayer composition is placed in a housing with possibility of its movement and replacement by a similar composition, wherein said composition is a bundle of transparent or semitransparent carrier plates, placed at a given distance from each other, which when joined into a bundle, form a three-dimensional image of the original flat drawing. On each of said plates, there is an information model - a fragment of the original image of the flat drawing, and the number of plates is selected based on the condition that the minimum number of is determined by the observer viewing the image as a single unit, and the maximum number determined by achieving the maximum three-dimensional image effect. The distance between the carrier plates is determined from the formula: for a medium and large-size product D_opt=0.33√LW, for a souvenir product D_opt=0.7√LW, where D_opt is the optimum distance between the carrier plates; L is the maximum length of the carrier plates; W is the maximum width of the carrier plates.

EFFECT: high reliability of the structure of the article, high luminous efficacy of the article, high voluminosity of the original flat image, broader capabilities of using the article as an illumination device for different purposes.
